Any un aired material (characters, location, objects, etc.) are considered as spoiler and we tend to avoid putting up details early because to some it can be viewed as a spoiler. Even if they are confirmed to appear or appeared in a trailer/promo, we do not upload them unless they make a full and final appearance in the episodes.
I was the admin of the other wiki which just merged with this one, and I was under the impression that wiki was to be merged with the other one which is why I kept working on it. Since I just found out that this was wrong, all of my work has been lost, which is annoying.
Anyway, since I was an active admin of the other wiki, I was wondering whether I could be made admin of this wiki.
Apologies, I must've looked at your message then forgotten to reply. As was my understanding, we were hard at work here before you guys started your wiki. I appreciate your work ethic, but I'm not sure that warrants promoting you here also. Of course, that's not to say we won't need admins in the future, we of course will.
Effectively what I'm doing with pages is (and I'll put a policy up regarding this eventually) creating pages when characters and the like actually appear in episodes. I do the same sort of thing with a number of other wikis and it works just fine. So you're welcome to stick around until the show airs, or add bits of information when it's reported!
Hi again. I've noticed that right now your infoboxes have been using the generic design. I was perhaps wondering if you'd like this design I made, or if you'd like to play around with it to make something you like?
I'm with MakeShift on this, and to be honest, while the attempt is appreciated, I'm sure MakeShift can come up with something a bit better. He's literally a design God, check out the dope stuff he's designed for other countless other wikis.
Fun fact: I typed out a nice big reply, sent it, then when I refreshed it was gone. YAY.
Not a big fan of the infoboxes, but perhaps a few elements like the darker shading on the titles on the left could be incorporated. As for the main page, I can dig some of those elements being incorporated; though, in regards to character portals, animation and live-action are vastly different ballparks, so it'll really be a choice call depending on how the show goes (from what I'm hearing the Titans won't even be fully formed until the end of the season anyway!). As for the actual design, it's largely the aesthetic of the show that they draw from, I think, so that sort of thing is inevitable in our design.
I've already nabbed the url so we can redirect it here, seeing as they're going to connect them. The question is will all the live action DC Universe shows be in the same universe? We're going to be in for a handful if so lol. Titansverse Wiki here we go haha,
Edit:I contacted staff to redirect it here, so should be within a few days.
Hey MakeShift, heard you're retiring. I wanted to wish you luck on your journeys ahead. Life is beautiful, don't miss a moment. Remember, "When all seems lost in the war of light, look to the sky for hope burns bright!"
Now that you are retiring what's going to happen to this Wiki?
Hello MakeShift, I might be familiar to you because I am in both DCEU and Arrowverse Wiki. So I just came across your Titans Wiki through the message you left on Tupka217's wall on the DC Wiki.
Well I'd like to contribute to this Community but first I want to ask if you are allowing to create articles of the characters?
Hello, I definitely recognise you! I am not, I'm going more with the Arrowverse method of "future spoilers" and whatnot, but I've yet to actually create an official policy for it. I've mostly done what I can thus far for the wiki, but you're more than welcome to add anything you can, plus just add information when any is released!
That appears to just be the website surmising, though I could be wrong.
And by "Arrowverse" I was referring to the wiki. I've taken cues from it, as I've run the wiki for the past 5 and a half years; in saying that, I've deleted the pages you created as they're yet to appear, so to speak. As for the TV series page, we tend to have an unwritten hierarchy over there on how we title pages and what takes precedence, with TV series having the un-paranthesised page title.
I'll get to writing actual policies for the wiki tomorrow, now that I actually have more than me here, but for now feel free to take cues from the Arrowverse Wiki's policies.
